Little Mac Boxing Gym is not just another "cute" cookie cutout boxing gym that we have seen popping up throughout the last few decades. This is an authentic boxing experience. Located in the heart of North Bergen, NJ, the tough blue-collar neighborhood made famous by the legend of local hero James J.Braddock a.k.a The Cinderella Man. Braddock captured the Heavyweight Championship of the world in 1935 when he beat Max Baer, putting North Bergen on the map as a true blue "fight town". In the tradition of Braddock and the old school way of training, North Bergen has a new home for boxing. The moment you enter Little Mac Boxing facility you will feel like you walked onto the set of a Rocky movie. Vintage fight posters adorn the walls as well as top-notch classic boxing equipment. Danny "Little Mac" McDermott, became the first North Bergen native to win a professional boxing world title since Braddock did it almost 80 years before him. He opened Little Mac Boxing Club because he wanted to provide his clients with an authentic experience into the REAL world of boxing training. This isn't your typical posh spa-type gym. When you are in a Little Mac Boxing gym you are there to sweat and learn the sweet science of boxing in a no-frills rough and tough environment.
